This searchable map of Danish towns and villages of more than 200 inhabitants is based on a table uploaded to Google Fusion Tables, containing info about name, parish, municipality, latitude and longitude.
The actual map was then subsequently generated in the Fusion Tables Layer Wizard, where it is possible to set map size, map color, etc., as well as generating a simple search field.
This is an easy way of creating bespoke place-name maps in virtually no time at all.
